No Man's Sky has its fair share of hostile life-forms.
For the most part, you will be encountering various forms of Sentinels (which have varying levels of hostility depending on the planet & your actions) & hazardous flora.

There are however many other hostile life-forms that you will have to contend with.
A well upgraded multi-tool & exosuit will help with this immensely.
Sentinel enemies now scale in difficulty alongside your multi-tool being upgraded.
