🌌 The universe of No Man's Sky comprises 255 unique galaxies. In turn, these are comprised of:

⭐ 3 to 4 billion regions - The region of a given star system can be learned in the Galactic Map by selecting "Expand" when reviewing the system's details. Each region is capable of containing up to 4096 solar systems, but generally less than 600 of them appear on the Galactic Map.

🟡🔴🟢🔵Each of which contain more than 122 and up to roughly 550 star systems 🌍🪐🌙This results in more than 18 quintillion planets available for discovery. All star systems feature from 1-6 planets and moons, and usually a single space station.

Players start in galaxy 1, Euclid, and travel through galaxies in order by reaching the Galaxy Centre or jump several by finishing 'The Purge' primary mission. After the player leaves galaxy 255 (Iousongola), they return to the first galaxy again.

🔧When transfering galaxies, all tech in your inventories will break & need to be repaired. Switch to a junk ship & multitool; while also packaging tech into items in the cargo tab to protect them.
