The Starship and Exosuit have two inventory types.

Change between inventory types by selecting the appropriate icon from the starship or exosuit pack in the Inventory Menu [TAB].

Technology Slots are reserved for installing upgrades and other technology devices. These slots start off limited but can be expanded up to 60 slots. When upgrading an Exosuit, the player can click on an empty tech slot to add slots to tech instead of cargo.

High Capacity Cargo Slots are found in the Exosuit, and also in ships. These slots start limited, but can be added to up to 120 slots.

Purchase new inventory slots at the Exosuit Technology Shop or Starship Outfitters on a Space Station. Free exosuit upgrades can be found by using Drop Pod Coordinate Data in a Signal Booster.
