Salvageable scrap is often highly valuable, and can be sold at a Galactic Trade Terminal.

Salvage containers are also a rich source of modules used to construct a Corvette-class Starship.

Install a Gravitino Coil in the Multi-Tool to magnetize and manipulate deposits of industrial waste. Large stacks of industrial waste can be hauled across the planet in a Colossus Exocraft, and deposited for rewards at a Waste Processing Plant.

While driving a Colossus on a scrap world, use the Exocraft Radar in the Quick Menu to locate nearby Processing Plants and Waste Heaps.

Players can unlock customisation parts (and player titles) for their colossus Exocraft by doing the following things:

• 50 Explosive Waste Processed - Tracked Treads & Title: Loadmaster

• 50 Toxic Waste Processed - Caterpillar Track & Title: Hazmat Specialist

• 50 Radioactive Waste Processed - Superelastic Wheels & Title: Fuel Handler
