A dig site for ancient fossils.

Additional Information:
Can be found less than 100u under the planet surface. Must be dug up with Terrain Manipulator, then interacted with for reward.
Most bones can be located on planets marked with the "Ancient Bones" text. The fossil can be located on the planet using an Analysis Visor (with the yellow bones icon, or red in case of vigilant stones). The fossils are usually covered by the terrain itself. To exhume the fossils, dig the terrain using the Terrain Manipulator until the head of the fossil is revealed, then hold E to extract it.
Fossil beds can be covered in Vigilant Stones that act as a sentry of the beds. Extracting these stones will awakes the guardians.
Guardians can hover in the skies at a low altitude.
Guardians have the following attack:
A stone throwing. If their enemy is far away from them, these guardians will throws stone at the enemy, dealing damage on impact. These do not lock on, so you can walk away.
A punch. If an enemy is close enough where a melee attack can be initiated, the guardians will simply punch them.
A swing. Similar to a punch, but they will rotate their body in a full circle (360-degrees) continously with their hand punching the enemy.
Parts of the guardians, such as the limb, can be dismembered by firing at them.
When the guardians is badly damaged (to the point that only the eyes are not destroyed) before anyone can destroy them, it will launch blue energy bolts, eventually self-destructing themselves.
